UNAIR NEWS –As one of the student activity units (UKM) active in literacy culture, reasoning club is trying to create reliable writers, both scientific and non-scientific.One of the members is M. Wahyu Syafi’ul Mubarok.
Wahyu became a speaker in the routine activity of Reasoning Club on Thursday night, March 2, Reasoning Discussion.Wahyu was selected as speaker because he was the First Winner in the Scientific Writing Olympiad and International Symposium of PPI Turkey in Istanbul in early 2018.
In Istanbul, Wahyu presented a paper titledTurkish Nuclear Test on Indonesia’s Outermost Island听.The paper was about the cooperation of nuclear energy use between Indonesia and Turkey to provide energy in the future.The use of nuclear energy is seen from the aspects of human resources, natural resources, the policies of Indonesian and Turkish government, as well as Chinese mega project, one belt one road听.
“Finally I could say what I want to say especially about my experience and what needs to be changed in Reasoning club, “he explained.
With activities based on authorship, Wahyu continued, Reasoning Club should not only focus on organizations.Discussion activities of reasoning and scientific writing should also be taken into account.
“Being busy in organizations is fine, but we also need to take the time to write and discuss.Because, most ideas come up when we discuss and meet with others, “he said.
For Wahyu, scientific authorship has a special meaning.Scientific means responsible for others.
“Scientific writing means we are responsible for the knowledge we get.For example, health scholars, they should feel responsible for the problems in Indonesia.Science should be useful, not just for winning in competitions, “he explained.
Winning, he added, is a bonus.It is better for the students to prioritize usefulness to glory from winning.
Meanwhile, Wahyu hoped that students will not be carried away with a negative writing towards life.Do not let writing activity detrimental to other students or the general public.
“Like some types of students who essentially want to get famous from their writing, without any fact or commonly called ahoax, “he said.
In response, Wahyu stated that reasoning club have a constructive role for Indonesia as a place to create ideas to build the country.
“With the Reasoning Club, we make restrictions so that the authorship works positively for Reasoning Club, 51动漫, and Indonesia,” said Wahyu.(*)
