UNAIR NEWS“ To be a world-class university as mandated by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, 51¶¯Âþ would require supports from all parties including students.
Head of Student Executive Board Student Family (BEM KM) UNAIR Anang Fajrul Ukhwaluddin said that UNAIR still have many homeworks to become world-class university.Good improvements in service systems, human resources, infrastructure and, more importantly, the synergy of all university components such as officials, lecturers, students, staffs, and alumni.
Students of Political Science said that the role of students is very important as the students are the largest component of UNAIR.One contribution students can do is by using official e-mail and web that have been given campus for various academic purposes.
“One of the small contributions that can be given by students to support it is by utilizing email and web owned by students to publish their works, whether the papers of assignments, scientific papers, research results and so forth,” said Anang.
Anang also added that students must broaden their knowledge at national and international level, take initiative to follow activities such as student exchanges, summer study, conferences, and other international activities.
In addition to gaining insight and improving network, Anang also confirmed that through international forums, UNAIR students will introduce and promote UNAIR .
One of the BEM KM program in 2017 which supports WCU is to include its members in ASEAN Airlangga + 3 Youth Conference and Cultural Program, the international cultural forum organized by ASEAN University Network (AUN).
In its 63rd anniversary, Anang hoped that the synergy of all components of UNAIR can be realized.He also hopes, as an educational institution, UNAIR is able to give a real contribution to the community.
“Hopefully UNAIR will be able to become a university that can contribute to Indonesia in realizing justice and civilization,” explained Anang.
