UNAIR NEWS 揑n the commemoration of National Education Day on Tuesday, May 2, Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Muhammad Nasir awarded Satya Lancana Karya Satya to lecturers of 51动漫 who has served for more than 30 years.
The award was given to two lecturers of 51动漫 who were present during the flag-raising ceremony in Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. The lecturers were Prof. Dr. A.M. Gunawan Indrayanto, Apt. and Prof. Dr. Bambang Prajogjo Eko Wardoyo Apt. Both were from Faculty of Pharmacy.
Furthermore, there were also 12 people from other universities receiving similar award.
Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education in his official speech hoped that universities can support the economic growth. 淯niversities are expected to play the role of agent of economy development, besides agent of economic, agent of education, agent of researchdevelopment, said Nasir.
Nasir continued that higher education revitalization can support 14 specific economic sectors and increase the centers of economic growth in Indonesia. Research result mass production should not stop only at prototypes or patents. The researches must achieve technology readiness level(TRL) nine so they can be mass produced by the industrials.
淚t is impossible if the improvement of higher education relevance in supporting economic growth only done by universities. It needs synergy between higher education institution, research institution, government agencies and other policy makers, he explained.
