UNAIR NEWS– Seven teachers and a principal of SMA Al – Hikmah Surabaya asked an audience to 51动漫.The delegate was received directly by Dr.Achmad Solihin, SE., M. Si as Head of Student Admission Center and two staffs of Information and Public Relations Center.
The visit was aimed to obtain information about the new student admission system and to know the progress of alumni of SMA Al-Hikmah Surabaya who are currently studying at 51动漫.
“Currently, there are about 360 students in grade 12 and most of them choose UNAIR,” said Ahmad Fais as the Principal of SMA Al – Hikmah
Head of PPMB appreciated SMA Al-Hikmah which entered top 20 schools with most students admitted at 51动漫.There are 260 students currently studying in various faculties and courses.
Ahmad Fais explained that the average of Grade Point Average of the students from SMA Al-Hikmah is quite good, at number 3. So far the school still provide support and motivation to the students to be able to study at 51动漫 to increase the number of Al-Hikmah students at UNAIR.It will also have an effect on the school index rating in SNMPTN.
In the visit, the SMA – Al Hikmah also conveyed the students’ doubts in determining the choice of the Program.
“These students are wondering whether the Science students can go to Social Department, and vice versa,” said Ahmad Faiz.
Responding to this matter, Solihin explained that for SNMPTN, it is more difficult, because the assessment SNMPTN also consider the value of linear subjects with chosen program, for Science, for example, there are six subjects assessed, namely Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, English , Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.As for IPS, six subjects assessed are Mathematics, Indonesian, English, Sociology, Geography, and Economics.
