Studying Literature, Ghanesya Hari Murti the Best Master Graduate of FIB UNAIR

UNAIR NEWS UNAIR is a like an experiments laboratory. That was how Ghanesya Hari Murti, S.S., M.Hum. represented his . He succeeded in finishing his Postgraduate program on time and was inaugurated as the best postgraduate of Faculty of Humanities UNAIR with a satisfactory GPA of 3,92. Moreover, while doing his studies at UNAIR, Ghanesya also deepened his knowledge at Malaya University.

In 2015, I got a chance to do a deeper study into gender in the neighboring country, Malaya University, by taking courses on gender and politics. Experience enabled me to exchange ideas with from around the world like Germany, Switzerland, and other countries, Ghanesya described.

About thesis, with his persistent spirit, this enthusiast of Gilles Deleuzes ideas was able to finish it in a short period of time. The thesis which he compiled was titled The Bargaining Power of Dystopia Literature: Deterritorialization on Hunger Games, Maze Runner and Divergent Novels. The critical reason which he pointed out about taking it as a title was his desire to break the barrier between canon and popular literatures which was influenced by legitimacy system.

Literature is not about what it means but more to what it does, he added.

During his time finishing thesis, Ghanesya claimed that he encountered no particular difficulties. However the young man, born in Jember, admitted that he took a long time reading the text soul of the literatures which he owned.

The only free universal is the classroom because it is only in the class where all powers are focused on the strength of the arguments, he quoted Rocky Gerung. Therefore the campus and the class require passion to be evergreen and to do limitless experiments, was the final quote which this best postgraduate student of 2017 took. (*)
