UNAIR NEWS –听Senja Budayais one of the annual work programs of Ministry of Arts and Culture BEM Faculty of Law .The background of Senja Budaya is to preserve the culture in Indonesia as it has a diverse culture that is now beginning to erode by the times.
Themed “Unite in Harmony of Indonesian Cultures,”Senja Budaya (Cultural Twilight)held on Tuesday, May 5, attended by no less than 550 people, both students and the general public.
“The goal is to explore the various talents in UNAIR and Surabaya.In addition to guest star Sujiwo Tejo, the performers also performed their various talents, especially arek Suroboyo, “said Ayya as Head of the committee.
Although there is no significant difference from last year, there are some new things in the event.There was a photography contest themedSurabayaku.The purpose of this photography competition was to show the beautiful side of Surabaya City that can be enjoyed by the public.
“Preparation for this event was about 1 month.The performers were from inside and outside campus.From UNAIR there were bands, saman dance, and Student Activity Unit (UKM) Teater Mata Angin.The main event was a performance of Sujiwo Tejo, “said student of class 2016.
In addition toSenja Budaya, several work programs that have been and will be implemented by the Ministry of Arts and Culture are Batik day (held every 2 months especially FH students), and Law Music Project as the biggest work program.
“Thank goodness the visitors’ enthusiasm was extraordinary.Although there were many participants, but they can remain in orderly manner.The number of visitors was beyond the expectation of the committee.So the committee were also happy, ” she added.(*)
