UNAIR NEWS –Every year Kemenristekdikti opens a community service program for lecturers with NIDN to actualize one of the Higher Education Tri Dharma.For this program, Faculty of Nursing, was realized through Entrepreneurship Development Program (PPK).
PPK is one of FKp’s community service programs with funding from Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.The initiation of PPK establishment was based on situation analysis that FKp students are interested in business.In addition, FKp graduates in the future are expected to be able to have nerspreneurship.
“PPK was formed to accommodate students who have nerspreneurship spirit so that they are expected to develop their interests and talents,” said Ika Nur Pratiwi, S.Kep., Ns, M.Kep, as the Head of PPK FKp UNAIR.
Ika Nur explained that the requirement for applicants who are interested in joining PPK FKp is that students have at least astart-upof souvenir business and students have experience in Entrepreneurship PKM.After the selection, the students will be trained through various programs provided.
“PPK members who officially joined are required to attend a series of activities such as entrepreneurship classes, internships for students, mentoring and supervision, as well as structured business development assistance,” she explained.
One form of implementation of PPK FKp is that you can attend the SURABAYA GREAT EXPO 2018 in Grand City, August 10-14.SURABAYA GREAT EXPO 2018 exhibition is an exhibition of Industry, trade, tourism, banking and superior products of small and medium enterprises.
The exhibition itself was held in order to commemorate 73rd Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia and develop and expand the market of potential products of domestic small and medium enterprises.
“Participants were not only from the central government and the provincial government, state universities are also invited to join the exhibition, including UNAIR,” said Ika Nur.
She also explained that PPK FKp consisting of students and alumni presented their works from headscarves, souvenirs with health education content, herbal products, and also provided health check services.
