UNAIR NEWS Taiwan Education Center is going to be established in 51动漫 September 12. It is a collaboration of Asia University Taiwan and UNAIR, and it will be the one and only Taiwanese education information center in Indonesia.
Both institution had a discussion for the plan, Tuesday, August 29, in Management Office Building Campus C UNAIR. The representative and the Dean of Faculty of Humanity and Social Sciences Asia University Taiwan Yinghuei Chen met the Executive Director of Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) Prof., Dr., Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih., M.Si., and some representatives from some faculties in UNAIR.
Nyoman said that TEC establishment will not only handle education, but also other collaborations including scholarships.
淭EC will not only be about education partnership but also joint research, joint publication, lecturer, research, and student exchange also double degree and joint degree, said Prof. Nyoman.
Nyoman said that TEC will be able to facilitate all Taiwanese universities to collaborate with Indonesian universities.
Later on, TEC will have an office in UNAIR next to AGE office. The officials and administrative staff will focus on managing TEC. The administrative staff will be recruited from UNAIR alumnus.
淚t is beneficial for UNAIR. Besides for branding, people will pay more attention as every partnership with Taiwan will be related to UNAIR. For the Taiwanese universities as well, they will go through UNAIR, added Prof. Nyoman.
Profesor Chen said that his institution trusted TEC location in UNAIR for some reasons. One of them is the reputation of UNAIR as prominent university in Indonesia. UNAIR was also chosen because of its specialty in Medicine.
淎sia University Taiwan was really selective in terms of developing partnerships. China Medical University focuses in Medicine and it is ranked second in Taiwan. China Medical University also has a hospital, similar to UNAIR. I think it is really compatible with UNAIR, stated Chen. (*)
