The one and only, FH UNAIR Students Presented Politics of Agrarian Law at UNPAD National Conference

UNAIR NEWS “ An excellent achievement, Faculty of Law (FH) students 51¶¯Âþ (UNAIR) presented their articles in National Conference at Rectorate Building of Universitas Padjajaran, Bandung on Wednesday, July 02. Carrying the theme “Success Stories of Independent Development Strategies in the Islands Region”, the national conference event was held by Maluku Corner, Universitas Padjajaran.

At the national conference, FH UNAIR students were the only undergraduate students who became speakers. The team consist of Xavier Nugraha (2015), Nina Amelia Novita Sari (2016), Ezra Tambunan (2018), and Patricia Inge Felany (2018) managed to present their articles. They managed to become one of 15 best speakers in law realm.

Previously, writers were required to submit abstracts. Based on the selection, 4 students passed the legal subtopic and presented their article entitled “Implications of the Interpretation of State Ownership Rights by Constitutional Court on Politics of Agrarian Law on Kedil Islands in Indonesia”.

“From the selection result, about 15 best speakers from various fields were accepted. Well, because we are law students, we carry on the theme in the field of law. After that, we made payment terms for each student, “said Ezra Tambunan, one of the speakers in the team.

“The exciting part is we are the only undergraduate student, the other speakers are master, doctoral student, and even professor and we also have to be prepared in answering various question,” said Xavier Nugraha.

In addition, Ezra Tambunan revealed the obstacles during preparation. Considering they are still an undergraduate student with less experience than others. Not only preparing materials but also mastering the material to answer several questions.

“Even though we are the youngest here, it does not conclude that we cannot take part in this conference activity. It turned out they also needed to hear young generation opinion, especially about law realm in Indonesia, “he added.
