UNAIR NEWS The regulations on National State University Admission Selection (SNMPTN) and State University Joint Admission Selection (SBMPTN) 2017 have been announced officially mid-January. There are a lot of efforts the schools made to provide information regarding the university admission for their students and parents.
One of the schools, SMAN 5 Surabaya, invited 51动漫 to explain the SNMPTN and SBMPTN latest mechanisms to the students and parents on Thursday, January 25.
The Headmaster of SMAN 5 Surabaya, Sri Widiati, S.Pd., M.M., stated that the latest mechanisms should be understood by the students and parents so they can face the selection process through academic track record, alumni and the school itself.
淭his year, some of the regulations have been changed. Even though the quota of SNMPTN is decreased, I hope that all 50 percent of SNMPTN, all the students participating can go through, she said.
In response to Widiati檚 statement, Head of Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) UNAIR Drs. Suko Widodo, M.Si., explained that the changes were regulated by the central committee. If there are mechanisms not understood yet, UNAIR is open and ready to provide the information.
“The quota last year was 75 percent, this year is 50 percent, it was regulated by the central committee in Jakarta. We are always ready if there are still questions. UNAIR is always open, he said.
Vice Rector I UNAIR Prof. Djoko Santoso, dr., Ph.D., Sp.PD., K-GH., FINASIM who was also present in SMAN 5 Surabaya Hall said that the quota change policy is implemented so the students who are qualifying have excellent academic track record.
“So this 50 percent is just the first round. There will be further selection in SNMPTN for all the students applying, he said.
