UNAIR NEWS淓xcellence with Morality is always held firmly by academicians of 51动漫 (UNAIR). Inspired by the motto, two lecturers of UNAIR with excellent expertise gives sermon to public. Director of Education, Prof. Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih, M.Si., and Vice Rector III UNAIR Prof. Ir. M. Amin Alamsjah, Ph.D, gavescientific sermon to public.
The show is produced by crews of a local TV station in East Java and Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) UNAIR. The Head of PIH UNAIR Drs. Suko Widodo, M.Si, said that this scientific sermon is one form of community services of UNAIR lecturers to public. They are expected to provide knowledge not only in classes but also contribute to wider community.
淭his is an effort to serve the community, therefore we create the program, we will incite scientific sermon. UNAIR as the center of knowledge and moral development in community, and we檒l develop this regularly, said the experts on mass communication.
Director of Education UNAIR Prof. Nyoman, as the source appreciated PIH step in collaborating with media and involving the professors to give sermon with science to the public.
淚t is a very good show to expand the knowledge of people and indirectly encourage them to think positive in the future, to care and help each other, she said.
Vice Rector III UNAIR Prof. Amin who was a source said that the program was a great leap. For him, university which is deemed as an ivory tower should go down to socialize and elaborate their thoughts to public.
淚 really support this kind of event. I hope that the professors can present their ideas which develop the public檚 mind. I think there are many UNAIR potentials which can be developed well with the mass media, he said.
