Pain Relieved by Intervention
Recurring pain often causes frustration. Therefore, a group of anesthetic experts developed a new method to relieve the pain, it is called interventional pain management,听IPM. One of the doctors in the team is the professor on Anesthetics, Nancy M. Rehatta who is also the Head of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Collegium. All this time, the pain was relieved with drugs. But on difficult cases, morphin injection is not effective and the patient, usually, does not want to have the operation when long consumption of drugs can be fatal. Intervention technique is used to avoid the risk by managing the nerves which transmit impulses of pain to the brain through an ultrasound device or radio frequency device.

Ligament Injury Healed Fast
Injuries always haunt athletes. Research on sport medicine is developing. One of the researches was conducted by dr. Rosy Setiawati, SpRad(K). of 51动漫. Her research was elaborated in her dissertation titled Akselerasi Graft Tunnel Healing pada Rekonstruksi Anterior Crudiate Ligament Menggunakan Autograf Tendon Hamstring dengan Transpantasi Allogenic BM-MSC-s 揤GEF secara Intratunne.Through the research, Rosy hoped that athlete healing period can be shorter. Generally for a ligament injury, it needs 12 months to be healed. But with her method of treatment, it can be done in 6 months.

Hundreds Students Tested for Djarum Plus Scholarship
Registration of Djarum Plus 2016/2017 Scholarship was started last May. There were 18.000 applicants with completed verification phase from all around Indonesia. For Surabaya there were 983 applicants selected to take the selection test last July for three days. One of the students was Putri Dahlia Affiani from Environmental Engineering 51动漫 (UNAIR). She said that she was optimistic she made it. Even though it was a difficult test as it involved all students in Indonesia. She applied to broaden her experience. The final result will be announced on the official site on September 12, 2016.
