UNAIR NEWS “ Islamic Economics Science doctoral program at Postgraduate Studies of 51¶¯Âþ Asman Abnur is scheduled to take an open doctoral examination, Monday (27/2). The dissertation examination of Asman™s, the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Republic of Indonesia (RI), will be held at Garuda Mukti Hall, Management Office Campus C UNAIR.
In his dissertation, Asman chose a theme with the title The Effect of Government Capital Expenditure and Private Investment to Regional Economic Growth and Labor Absorption as well as People Welfare in the Regencies/Cities of Riau Islands Province from Islamic Perspective.
In defending his dissertation, Asman will be examined by ten examiners who are led by a Professor of Accountancy Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak. Among other examiners are Prof. Dr. Suroso Imam Zadjuli, SE as the promoter, Prof. Dr. H. Ali Mufrodi, MA as the co-promoter, Prof. Dr. H. Muslich Anshori, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., and Prof. Dr. Djoko Mursinto, Drs.Ec., M.Ec. Besides them, the Police Chief of RI General Police Drs. H.M. Tito Karnavian, M.A., Ph.D, will also examine the dissertation composed by promovendus Asman.
Besides attended by the examiners and audience, a number of government officials will also be present at the open doctoral examination. It is scheduled that the Minister of National Development Planning /Head of National Development Planning Agency RI, the Minister of State Owned Enterprises RI, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources RI, the Chairman of People™s Consultative Assembly RI, staff of the Audit Board RI and heads of municipalities will honor with their presence.
Before the open examination tomorrow, the dissertation material of Asman™s, who has studied at the doctoral program for 6 years 6 months, has been defended in a closed doctoral examination. The closed examination was held on 30 December 2016 ago and led by Prof. Djoko Mursinto.
Previously, Asman got his bachelor degree of Ekasakti, West Sumatra, in 1990. He then continued his study at master program of Management Science, Faculty of Economics and Business UNAIR in 2000 and graduated in 2004. This 55 year old man started his doctoral study at UNAIR in 2010. (*)
