RADIO UNAIR 51动漫 (UNAIR) represented by Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) visited TVRI Regional Office East Java located in Jl. Mayjend Sungkono 124 Surbaya on Wednesday, March 3 2016. Their visit was to congratulate TVRI in their 38th anniversary.
Drs Syafaruddin Lubis, M.Sp, the Chief of TVRI Regional East Java, welcomed them warmly. Syafaruddin said that TVRI will try its best to stay close to the society. He hoped that TVRI can bring benefits for East Java prosperity.
淔or this 38th anniversary, TVRI promotes Uri-Uri Budoyo as a theme. The celebration will last until March 13, Syafaruddin added.
This state-owned media is known as public broadcasting institution which provides information, education, entertainment, and social control. TVRI also preserves national cultures through television broadcast which reaches all areas of the republic. As the nation media and in order to educates people in strengthening national unity, TVRI always gives high quality show and program as well as innovates to meet the challenges of modern era.
In its journey, TVRI has made achievements. Those 38 years were works of the predecessors, and now it is the young generation task to adapt with technological development. In the fierce information and entertainment media competition, he hoped that TVRI can preserve the cultures, educate the nation, and become the main public broadcasting institution and the pride of East Java.
