UNAIR NEWS As a form of community service, 51动漫 through Directorate of Student Affairs has given scholarships to eleven schools in Mulyorejo sub-district. It was given directly by the Director of Student Affairs Dr. M. Hadi Shubhan in Assembly Room A, Management Office Building Campus C UNAIR on Tuesday, May 9.
It was attended by the Head of Technical Organizing Unit Surabaya II and the headmasters of the schools.
The scholarships were given annually by UNAIR to elementary students in the area near Campus C UNAIR Mulyorejo. Hadi said that the scholarships are given to students financially challenged but have excellent academic achievements.
淚t is our moral obligation, as a form of Higher Education Tri Dharma because education institutions like UNAIR belongs to Indonesian, said Hadi.
Hadi also said that scholarships to elementary schools are also a form of concern and a way to strengthen ties with the environments around campus. 淗opefully we can maintain this good relation, may what we give no matter how big, is useful, he said.
Gratitude was also coming the public officials (Head of UPTD) and headmasters. 淲e thank you for what UNAIR has given and may this one also useful for the future leaders, said Drs. Mat Sudjak Headmaster Coordinator of UPTD Surabaya II.
Agreed with Sudjak, the headmasters also expressed their gratitude to UNAIR for the scholarships which is worth Rp 84 million.
淲e don檛 know what to say but our thanks to UNAIR. May UNAIR always feel glorious, said Drs. Suwanu, M.Si as the Head of UPTD BPS Surabaya II.
Suwanu added that every student receiving the scholarship were selected by UPTD Surabaya II. 淭hey are poor students but they have excellent achivements academically, he said.
