UNAIR Graduates: We Are ready to be The Future Players

UNAIR NEWS The graduates of universities face a new challenge after their graduation. They are expected to be ready with the competition. It was the message of Alumni Association 51 (IKA-UA) Deputy Drs. Ec. Hariyanto Basoeni in Airlangga Convention Center UNAIR.

I would like to congratulate students just graduated by our Rector. It is a historic moment, said Hariyanto in his address.

According to the alumni of FE UNAIR, the graduates will have new routines, such as starting a business, looking for jobs or continuing studies. Therefore he encouraged the graduates to be strong in facing the new phase of life.

You can be an entrepreneur, but you must be honest, resilient and strong in facing the competition. It will be your new experiences, added Hariyanto Basoeni.

Kanza Tamarindora, S.Ikom, representing the graduates said that she and the other graduates were ready to face the new life they have ahead. Were ready to be the future players, said Dora, an alumna of Communication Studies FISIP UNAIR 2012. Her statement was followed with lively applause from the graduates.

In March 2017 garduation, UNAIR Rector graduated 2,018 UNAIR students. The process was divided in two days. For the first day, Saturday, March 11, there were 1,008 graduates while the next day, Sunday March 12 there were 1,010. As usual, the Vice Rectors, Head of Academic Senates, Deans, Professors of UNAIR, IKA-UA representative and other officials were attending.

Among the guests, there was Prof. Joni Hermana, Rector of ITS who was attending her daughters graduation, and representatives of East Java province government, Surabaya government, East Java Police force, Kodam Brawijaya, Pangarmatim, Koarmatim and many other guests. (*)
