“From January 1, 2018, we will give the operational management entirely to the management and the advisory council of UNAIR Hospital. So the advisory council is the representative of the university, said Nasih.
Nasih said, the status of teaching hospital under Kemenristekdikti has some consequences. He reminded the hospital to produce specialists and improve research publications.
“That the contract with Dikti. The government has spent a lot of money to build the hospital, so at least we contribute to the public, added Nasih.
He asked the hospital management to manage the managerial aspects independently such as independent, expenses, maintenance, or human resources development, equipments, building and the system.

To achieve the target, the Director of the hospital Prof. Nasronuddin said that his unit has made preparations. There are four steps the hospital conducted towards independence, efficiency of BPJS service without reducing quality.
“We also took steps for BPJS efficiency without reducing the quality so it is still attractive and make patients comfortable, said Nasron.
Second, improving the number of general patients in RS UNAIR through professional approach. The doctors in RS UNAIR with three practice permit (SIP), are encouraged to use it in the suburban healthcare service. The goal is to make more referrals to RS UNAIR.
Third, establishing network with private insurance. 淭he insurance brings patients. The combination of BPJS efficiency and general patients will improve the financial aspect, said the expert of tropical diseases.
The other is by improving the existing governance on stem cell, hemodialisis, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including service in Tropical and Infectious Hospital.
Beside the facilities, his unit has tried to improve the welfare of the hospital employees.
The documentation masde towards the plan will be finished in September 2017 and given to UNAIR Rector.
