UNAIR NEWS Even though he is just in the fourth semester, M. Lutfi Al Jufri was quite confident participating in international level symposium. The student of International Relations Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UNAIR has won the best paper category in ISA-OISAA International Symposium 2017 in Taiwan.
The event was held by Indonesian Student Association (PPI) Taiwan, in National Cheng Chi University (NCCU) Wenshan district Taiwan. In the event, Lutfi presented his paper entitled,Empowering Indonesia SME’s to Go Digital, Enhancing National Economic on Asean Economy Community and ASIA.
In his paper, Lutfi discussed about the reinforcement of UKM roles as the main aspect of national economic growth and about the high internet use in Indonesia.
淭he objective is to improve the economy through digital development and make Indonesia as the biggest country with the most people accessing E-digital in South East Asia by 2020 through 14th economic policy package regarding digital economic roadmap, stated Lutfi.
There are prominent international figures attending, such as Prof. Makarim Wibisono Ph.D., Indonesian Ambassador for the UN 2004-2007. In presence of those experts, Lutfi was quite confident and he even felt proud of it.
淚檓 proud that I can speak at international forum in my early studies, especially when there is the former Indonesian Ambassador for the UN, former President spokesperson, DPR member, professors and academicians from around the world, papar Lutfi.
In the end of the interview, the student from Tegal said that students besides going to classes and organizations, should attend scientific events such as symposiums, conferences at national or international.
淚n this global era, we must keep our spirit to work and compete to bring better changes for the country and nation, he said. (*)
