UNAIR NEWS “ 51¶¯Âþ Library also participated in Student Activity Unit (UKM) Display event, one of the 2018 freshmen orientation events through AMERTA program.In the exhibition taking place at Campus C Student Center Hall on Monday, August 6, UNAIR Library promoted their featured programs.
The first program, Library 101. This activity is a library introduction program for students from diploma to bachelor level.Participants will be acquainted with facilities, collections, services, to excellent programs in the library.This year Library 101 registration can be accessed starting on August 13, 2018 while the implementation starts on August 20 to October 31.
In addition to knowledge about libraries, the students have the opportunity to obtain 10 points Achievement Credit Unit (SKP) certificate.
The second program, ORM (Online Research Management), introduces how to access and trace journals subscribed by UNAIR libraries.This program is mandatory for UNAIR master™s and doctoral degree students.Registration can be accessedonline throughfrom August 13, 2018. The implementation of ORM program together with Library 101.
Public Relations Staff of UNAIR Library, Agung B. Kristiawan said that the presence of UNAIR Library in UKM display was to introduce one of the facilities that can be used by students.
“Many came to our booth, we are not UKM but were present at the UKM display.Some thought that it was a department booth.Our presence was a form of appreciation to UNAIR students who have paid UKT and to introduce and even provide the best facilities to support their studies, ” he explained.(*)
