UNAIR Nursing Students Win in Malaysia

UNAIR NEWS “ Faculty of Nursing students of have made another international achievement.This achievement was made in International Business Plan Competition 2018 held on August 25-29 2018 in two countries, Malaysia and Singapore.

The event was a series of events from 2019 International Business Plan Competition grand agenda organized by Edconex International andÌý.

There were two majorevents, themarketresearch and international class.Market research took place in Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC) whileinternationalclasses areheld at Nanyang Technological University.In this activity participants had the opportunity to learn how to get a business idea and how to make it happen.

In addition, participants also conducted acampus tourat NIE (National Institution Education) Singapore, NTU (Nanyang Technology University) Singapore, and University of Malaya, Malaysia.

“First, we send business design proposals in English and Indonesian.Then on the D-day we conducted aresearchmarket by going directly to the field in KLCC Malaysia, ” said Ayu Septia Malinda, a delegate and 7th semester student FKp UNAIR.

Furthermore, explained Ayu, she and the team directly made a report on the results of theresearch market program.The proposal was assessed by judges from Indonesia and Singapore.

Meanwhile, the winner was judged based on the creativity of creating content with #ComparativeStudy #MarketResearch # ComparativeStudy2018 hashtags and evaluating the contents of business proposals.

The event attended by about 40 delegates from all universities in Indonesia competed for 10 championship medals.FKp team succeeded in winning three medals, best IV by Malinda Kurnia Putri, the best VI champion medal by Tyas Dwi Rahmadhani, and the best VII medal by Ayu Septia Malinda.

According to Ayu, the activity was very beneficial for her and the team in understanding the business development process that was structured competitive.In addition, this program also helps to understand the market and cultural interests of the destination country.
