UNAIR NEWS – TheGovernment of Timor Leste has made another visit to 51动漫 to follow up cooperation in the field of education.Previously, the government of Timor Leste visited to discuss UNAIR’s willingness to admit Timor Leste students.This time, the visit held in Meeting A on Monday, January 15 was a meeting to finalize the preparation of selection and admission of Timor Leste students in UNAIR.
Representing the Government of Timor Leste, Ismenio Martins da Silva during his speech said that cooperation in the field of education is done as a form and effort to develop Timor Leste human resources.
“There are more than four thousand students spreading across 226 countries.Most of it is in ASEAN, “he explained.
Ismenio’s interest in choosing UNAIR to be one of the partners is from UNAIR’s excellence and achievements.In addition, the number of UNAIR alumni who occupy a strategic position in the Government of Timor Leste is also a reason to choose UNAIR as a place for Timor Leste students to continue study.
“Many graduates from UNAIR are in strategic positions in our country.So, we will continue this cooperation, “he said.“For the subject of the test and the selection process, we give UNAIR the freedom to manage it,” he added.
Responding to Ismenio’s statement, with vice dean III of FK, FKM, FST, FKp, FISIP, FPsi, Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) Director Prof.Dr.Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih, Dra., M.Si., stated that regarding the admission of Timor Leste students at UNAIR, UNAIR will not only do selection and give lectures.Moreover, UNAIR is committed to provide training.
“So not only the study, but also training to improve the quality of human resources,” she explained.
Furthermore, to strengthen the cooperation, Prof.Nyoman admitted that in the future UNAIR will form an allied association of universities especially of universities that uses Malay or Bahasa in presenting their courses.
” I think Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam are almost the same as Indonesia.If Timor Leste can join us, it will be more unique, ” she explained.
