In response to the ideas presented in each inauguration of professors, Prof. Moh Nasih worried that those brilliant ideas will be 榯aken by someone. Therefore, the ideas should not stop only at the research. There are people out there , he said, who have the money and can 榮tel their brilliant ideas.
滵on檛 let us think hard, do research and find the ideas, but the people who enjoy and sell were other people. It will be our loss. Those brilliant ideas can be pushed to be academic products we can sell ourselves. Even though there is a saying 楽eek knowledge even as far as China, but if we look for investors we shouldn檛 look that far but look around here, said the Rector.
With research which does not stop at research, it means the knowledge is useful for others. Therefore, the professors were encouraged to continue quality researches with better technology and can be sold to people. It is admitted that the 榟omework is how to improve the academic products and make them useful for the alma mater and society.
淔rom the forum let us together encourage and develop science and technology to produce something from our knowledge for mankind檚 prosperity. Products which are still in the drawers, laboratories, let us get them out to bring usefulness for people, said the professor of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNAIR. (*)
