UNAIR NEWS Programs and departments are main elements to head towards world class performance. In this regard, staff of International Office and Partnership (IOP) 51动漫 held a workshop on internationalization in Kahuripan Hall 300, Management Office Building UNAIR.
Workshop entitled 楶engaktifan dan Penguatan Kerjasama di Lingkungan 51动漫 (Rejuvenate MoU in 51动漫) was held on Wednesday, April 27 and attended by high officials of university and departments. There were seven speakers in the workshop.
From UNAIR, five speakers were Secretary of IOP UNAIR Margaretha Rehulina, M.Psi, Head of Reseach and Innovation Institute Prof. Hery Purnobasuki M.Si., Ph.D., Chairman of Board of Planning and Development Badri Munir Soekotjo, Ph.D., Director of Education Prof. Dr. Dra. Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih, M.Si., and Psychology double degree representative UNAIR Endah Mastuti, S.Psi., M.Si.
The workshop also invited speakers from Universitas Gadjah Mada. They were the vice dean and a lecturer of Faculty of Geography, UGM Prof. Aries Marfai, and Dr. Danang Hadmoko.
Vice Rector IV UNAIR Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., M.Kes., Ph.D, hoped that there will be active contributions from every faculty and department in implementing collaborations established. Junaidi also said that each program and department should keep developing science and organization along with the era advancement.
As the secretary of IOP UNAIR, Margaretha elaborated roles of IOP in UNAIR collaborations. Some points were about the collaboration guidelines, the scheme of MoU and MoA also the signings from both parties.
淏esides increasing more MoU (memorandum of understanding), now UNAIR also wants to increase more MoA (memorandum of agreement). I hope all parties which shared understanding and agreement to be more detailed and clear in formulating activities to achieve better implementation of the agreement, said Margaretha.
Similar to Margaretha, Prof. Hery said that two things to achieve by UNAIR were to be in Top 500 World Class University, and internationalization of university. To support these, the university can collaborate with other universities or non-university institution such as the government.
The head of LPI UNAIR also emphasized three things, internationalization of lecturers and teaching staff, curriculum and learning process, and the internationalization of students. (*)
