UNAIR NEWS –Eleven 51动漫檚 scientists have participated in the successful Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) conference.The annual agenda was held at Naresuan University, Muang Phitsanulok, Thailand, on December 12-15.
In the conference entitled “Better Life Expectancy Through Education, Research, and Innovation”, the UNAIR scientists were divided into three science clusters.In health sciences, UNAIR was represented by oleh Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., M.Kes., Ph.D.; Prof. Dr. Soetojo, dr., Sp.U.; Prof. Dr. Fedik Abdul Rantam, drh.; Prof. Dr. Tri Martiana, dr., MS., Dr. Dra. Umi Athijah, MS., Apt.; and Dr. R. Darmawan Setijanto, drg., M.Kes.Furthermore, in the cluster of science and technology, there were Nurul Barizah, SH., LL.M., Ph.D., and Prof. Drs. Win Darmanto, M.Si., Ph.D. For social cluster, UNAIR sent Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, S.E., M.Si., Ak.; Dr. Drs. Falih Suaedi, M.Si.; and Prof. Dr. Mirni Lamid, drh., MP.
Vice Rector IV UNAIR Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., M.Kes., Ph.D., was one of the dozens scientists had the opportunity to represent Indonesia to represent the research results.On that prestigious occasion, Junaidi gave a presentation on“Academic Health Science Institute as a Model of Inter-Professional Education and Services“.For him, in the academic world, health becomes an important point to make innovations to serve the community.
“All that can be applied if there is a correlation between the academic community, teaching hospital, and practical plans to move forward,” he said.
Regarding the involvement of dozens UNAIR scientists at the event, Executive Director of Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) UNAIR Prof.Dr.Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih, Dra., M.Si., gave a positive response.ThroughWhatsApp application,Prof.Nyoman stated that UNAIR internationalization step can be done in all positive ways.One of them is through the involvement of UNAIR scientists at international academic gatherings.
“Such activities are also parts of our efforts to build the image and reputation of UNAIR at international level,” said Prof.Nyoman.(*)
