UNAIR NEWS– Tizar Dwi Satyoputro, Medical Specialist (PPDS) student of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, 51动漫, won second place inposter presentation contest.The competition was in the series of the International Society for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy (ISSHP) conference, a conference held by a preeclampsia community based in Germany.
The conference on 7-10 October was attended by at least 500 participants.For the poster competition, Tizar competed with 50 other participants.They consist of general practitioners, midwives, obstetricians, as well as Obgyn’s PPDS student like himself from college and educational hospitals in Indonesia.
“It檚 very unexpected.It was the first competition I attend and won the second place, ” said Tizar.
In the poster contest, he made a poster entitledDifference Between Dexamethasone and Methylprednisolone in Hellp Syndrome Treatment: Evidence From Dr.Soetomo General Hospital听.
The 3rd ISSHP Indonesia Conference was held at Hilton Hotel, Bandung, entitled “The 3rd Biennial Congress of ISSHP Indonesia”.At the conference, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Faculty of Medicine, University of Padjadjaran and Dr.Hasan Sadikin Bandung Hospital acted as the host of the event.
The topics of the conference were “New Insight: Pathophysiology”, “The Global Pregnancy Collaboration (COLAB)”, “Risk Factors and Biomarkers”, and “Early Detection, Prevention, Management and Long Term Consequences”.
There were some interesting experiences that Tizar got while attending the conference.One of them was being involved in the conference with high reputation because it was held by a large institution and presenting many experienced speakers from abroad.
Tizar gotmanagementupdatesabout preeclampsia.He also gained new colleagues in a field similar to himself.
In preparing theposter presentation, Tizar got a lot of guidance from dr. Manggala Pasca Wardhana, SpOG, doctor who served in Dr. Soetomo Hospital Surabaya.Tizar admitted dr. Manggala doctors gave him many inputs.
“Doctor Manggala is very critical in correcting my research results.He demandsperfectionduring assessment, ” he said.
In the competition, there were five best winners.The 1st, 3rd, 5th place winners were from Sriwijaya University;2nd place winner from UNAIR;and the fourth place winner was Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia.(*)
