UNAIR NEWS– Farmers from various cities get an opportunity to participate in Livestock Feed workshop on Sunday, May 13.The workshop was held by Vet Ways Indonesia team, students of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) (UNAIR), and Winner Nescafe Kickstart 2017. It was participated by breeders from Bali, Lampung, Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung, Semarang, Madura, Nganjuk and Kediri.
This feed workshop was themed “Preparation of Complete Closed Fermented Feed”.It was held at Pustekom Learning House Jalan Arif Rahman Hakim Number 183B. The speakers were Drh.Djarot Winarno, expert consultant on farm management, nutrition, and probiotics, and H. Abdur Rouf,owner ofMendoMart.
Related to Vet Ways Mobile Apps, Wahyu Herfy Agung, a member of the Vetways team from FKH UNAIR, revealed that Vet Ways Mobile Apps is an application focused on cattle ande-commerceeducation, especially to help farmers to get solutions to their problems from upstream to downstream.
Next, on the making a complete fermentation feed, it was aimed to increase livestock productivity.From theworkshopactivity, farmers can understand and practice directly on the issue of livestock in their respective places.
“Hopefully, once it is over, such activity can continue and give a positive impact to farmers in Indonesia,” said Wahyu.

On that occasion, Wahyu said that there was a sharing sessi辞苍听with H. Abdur, SNI ruminant concentrate and livestock nutrition requirement, HMT superior economic analysis, and thorough discussion on fermentation of feed.There was also a direct practice of making complete feed and fermentation.The event wasalso supported Mendomart Swalayan Kambing, CV Mukti Abadi, Vetways Indonesia, Vact Store, Infovet Magazine, and听.
“We have used a few social medias focusing on livestock.One of them isFacebooknamed Jago Ternak and Jago Ruminansia with more than 12,000activeusers.Almost all of its members are breeders, “said Wahyu.
“WhileLine@ vetways provides information related to livestock and animal with more than 7,000members.TheLinegroupsfocus on ruminants and poultry livestock to provide learning andsharing facilitieswith veterinarians and future veterinarians with a total of more than 2,200users, ” he added.(*)
