UNAIR NEWS听Achmad Herman, the Makassar-born student doctoral program graduate, has the unique hobby. He likes Vespa and joins in 淰espa community, thus, also often to ride to other cities.
淚 like to collect the accessories all about Vespa,滺e said. Although he had been busy with his hobby, but he could achieve best graduate predicate of doctoral program (S3) FISIP with GPA of 3,82.
Previously, in his undergraduate study journey he also achieved the same predicate of communication studies in Hasanudin University in 2000. The most outstanding achievement he had was best author of Indonesia Political Science Association (AIPI) in 2011 which held by AIPI and LIPI.
To meet his research data, Herman raised the topic about his area, namely “Local Political Discourse in Local Press: Discourse Practices of Election of Governor and Vice Governor of Central Sulawesi”. He needed to focus while doing this research as it was required to examine the context of locality in Palu and its originality.
淚 thought it could have been hard to finish my study because I had to fly back and forth from Surabaya to Palu, He said. Herman admitted that to achieve it all it was not easy thing. In addition to he had to fly back and forth from Surabaya to Palu, his mother in law and his father passed away.
Herman provides advice to all, to keep focusing on and make a target to be a reference in managing time well. 淏esides, keep healthy and do more read books to make better writing, He said
