UNAIR NEWS “51¶¯Âþ continuously makes efforts towards internationalization. In addition to improving the quality of education, research, and community service, collaboration effort by holding education exhibition is also one way to improve UNAIR™s recognition at global level.
This time, UNAIR through Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) with Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Surabaya held Taiwan Higher Education Fair 2017 on Saturday, December 16.It was held at Surabaya Supermal Convention Center (SSCC) Ballroom. Jeffrey J.P. Tsai as President of Asia University, in his speech said that to collaborate with UNAIR in order to hold the exhibition that presented some universities in Taiwan was a right choice.Because he considered that UNAIR is one of the best universities in Indonesia.
“I deeply appreciate UNAIR as a great university and one of the best in Indonesia,” he explained.
Regarding the reason of organizing Taiwanese higher education exhibition in Indonesia, he said that the number of youth in Indonesia is extraordinary.In addition, he also wanted to participate in developing and creating better world by involving Indonesian youth.
Furthermore, Jeffrey also asserted that Taiwan has excellent educational standards.There are students from across the world who study in Taiwan.
“This excellent education system encourages us to exchange students with various universities in Indonesia including UNAIR, ” he said.
In response to Jeffrey’s statement, UNAIR Rector Prof.Moh.Nasih emphasized that the event supported by UNAIR was a form of good collaboration.In addition, Nasih also said that a great number of UNAIR students continue their studies to Taiwan.
“Some universities in Taiwan are the best one for UNAIR graduates for their studies,” he explained.
At the end, Prof.Nasih hoped that participants who attend and visit the exhibition were able to find and get more information about higher education in Taiwan.
“Taiwan becomes a country that provides more experience for Indonesian students,” he concluded.
