UNAIR NEWS Adelia Yulma Budiarto, an alumnus of Accounting bachelor檚 degree program became the best graduate of Faculty of Economics and Business in July 2017 graduation. The woman born in 1997 had finished her study in 3 years 8 months with 3.99 GPA.
Della admitted that as student she did not only attend lectures but she did a lot of other activities. She was active in Student Association and Airlangga Model United Nations Club. She was also active in Paguyuban Guk and Yuk (Pageant Association) Sidoarjo. All of them honed her skills well.
To UNAIR NEWS, the girl who used to be in an acceleration class at high schools shared her experience when she was working on her thesis. At that time she was busy with various events and competitions. It forced her to work on it while she was participating all those competitions, forum, internship and other extracurricular activities.
淚n the last three months of doing my thesis, I was doing my internship in British Petroleum, Jakarta. So for supervision, it was difficult with more bureaucracy in campus before the last examination, said the woman who is keen on swimming and dancing.
She works in one of the Big Four Accounting firms. Nevertheless, she wanted to continue study later.
淥ne of the challenges for myself is to balance my academic performance and activities. Alhamdulillah, I can managed it, said the girl who has been the Best Speaker of ICAEW Regional Business Challenge in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia 2016.
淭here檚 no easy way to success, and results will never betrays the determination. If you believe in your dreams and plans, work hard and have determination, said Adelia motivating her juniors. (*)
