Michael is indeed well known with his high pile of achievements. Until today, he has collected three international awards and eight national awards. Each of them ranges from the first to third place. The awards are his trophy after winning over competitors from peer students, medical specialists, doctoral students, to professors.
淔rom all the achievements, the most memorable one is my achievement in the event of Indonesian Society of Hypertension 2017 (InaSH) in Jakarta. Even though the competition was only national level, the achievement makes me very proud because it concerns with my interest and ambition, Michael said.
In the competition, Michael delivered a presentation on hypertension in front of the competitors from the community of cardiology and vascular specialists to specialists in hypertension. As a matter of fact, even part of the jury came from England and Malaysia.
Michael also often shows up as a speaker in various scientific gathering, in national and international level. The most prestigious one is when he delivered a presentation in the event of The 33rd World Congress of Internal Medicine 2016 in Bali.
淎t that time, I spoke in front of the Internal Medicine experts from almost all around the world like Japan, Russia, and England, he revealed.
Michael believes that UNAIR檚 glorious name will be more victorious in national and international level. 淚 want to be someone unique and has extra skills besides the general competence of a medical student, he said.
淭o me, to have fewer disturbances during courses, I prefer allocating my free time by participating in various competitions, added the man who swims as a hobby.
Michael has an ambition to be a cardiology and vascular specialist. He realizes that it takes tenacity, courage, patience, and a good time management to reach the success.
淚 want to prove that whenever I檓 keen on something, I can make it come true. When there is a will, there is a way, he stated. (*)
