UNAIR NEWS – The Deputy I of Central Management of 51动漫 Alumni Association (PP IKA UA) Drs, Ec. Haryanto Basoeni inaugurated the new management of Alumni Association (IKA 揢A) East Java Region on Saturday, February 4 in Graha Utama Building of Universitas Trunojoyo Rectorate, 10th Floor. At same time, along with the inauguration, official website of IKA UA has also been launched by General Secretary of IKA UA.
Drs. Ec. Haryanto Basoeni explained that it was the 13th Inauguration of IKA-UA East Java, during administration led by Prof. Dr. Hatta Ali, SH., MH who is also the Chief of Supreme Court (MA) Indonesia, meanwhile chief of IKA UA East Java is Dr. Hendy Hendarto, dr, Sp.OG (K). In the inauguration, two alumni of UNAIR were also appointed to become advisers, Dr.Ir. H. Sambari Salim Radianto, St., M.Si, who is also the regent of Gresik and Dr. H. Muh.Syarif, drs. Ec., M., Si , the Rector of Universitas Trunojoyo Madura.
After the website of IKA-UA, , was soft-launched by the General Secretary Deputy IKA-UA Dr. Budi Widayanto, hopefully alumni 51动漫 spread around the world can update and validate their data in person. There was a demonstration to change the database and adjust it with the current data such as their address.
淭hrough the official website, IKA UA and UNAIR have the accurate, valid and updated data of the whole alumni. It can be used for a lot of things, said Budi Wijayanto, He also explained about the website which consists of more than 15.000 database of alumni from 15 faculties in UNAIR.
In his opening remarks of Rector of UTM, Dr. H. Muh.Syarif, Drs, Ec, M.Si explained about the establishment of UTM which was originated from Universitas Bangkalan (UNIBANG). Historically, there were many alumni of UNAIR had important role in establishment of UTM especially when it was still UNIBANG such as Prof. Fasich, Prof. Komang Wiarsa Sardjana, Prof. Wahjoedi, Dr. Drs. Ec. Edyyuwono Slamet, Prof. M Zaidun, Now, UTM currently has 7 faculties with 15,000 students.

If I refuse, I檓 worried about future when I need to legalize the graduation certificate, I expect good service about it, said Muhammad Syarif while also expressed his gratitude to IKA 揢A which trusted him (UTM) to organize IKA UA East Java inauguration.
Vice Rector IV Dr. Muhammad Madyan, SE.,M.Si., of UNAIR who represented UNAIR Rector, congratulated the new board IKA-UA East Java. He said that Alumni have a huge role to support the university, because there are no universities which do not get support for their alumni.
淔urthermore, 51动漫 has been given task from the government to improve the quality and be in Top 500 world class university, so the roles and works of alumni are so important for society and state, he said.
The chief of IKA UA East Java region, Dr. Hendy Hendarto, dr, Sp.OG in his speech said that the agreed program is divided into three parts, the first is for the alumni, by developing alumni cooperative, remanaged alumni administratively, coordinating with either center or branches of IKA- UA, holding events or gatherings, visiting the sick member, death compensation, blood donation and many more. The second program is addressed for the community through conducting community service, delivering information to the media in effort to educate society.

After Inauguration, they had their photos taken and had lunch on 5th floor of Management Office Building, and then a press conference to explain main ideas of IKA揢A by chief of IKA UA Drs. Ec. Haryanto Bayoeni to be recommended to government. (*)
