QS WUR by Subject 2026, three UNAIR subjects ranked among world檚 top universities

UNAIR NEWS 51动漫 () once again reinforces its standing as a globally competitive institution. The publication of the QS World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject 2026 on March 26, 2026, highlights the university檚 steady progress, with consistent performance across several key academic disciplines.

The QS WUR by Subject is widely recognized as one of the most comprehensive global ranking systems, assessing universities across more than 50 disciplines grouped into five major categories: Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Life Sciences & Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences & Management. The framework is intended to provide students and stakeholders with clearer insights into the specific strengths of institutions in particular fields.

In compiling the rankings, QS relies on core indicators such as academic reputation and employer reputation, both drawn from large-scale global surveys of academics and industry professionals. Research performance is further evaluated through citations per paper and the H-index, using data from international databases such as Scopus. At the broader subject level, QS also incorporates international research collaboration through its International Research Network indicator.

Across all five major academic clusters, UNAIR delivers solid results. In Life Sciences & Medicine, the university is ranked #326 globally and #2 nationally. Meanwhile, Social Sciences & Management achieves a strong position at #246 worldwide and #3 nationally.

Arts & Humanities places at #363 globally (#4 nationally), while Engineering & Technology falls within the #401450 global band (#5 nationally). These outcomes underscore UNAIR檚 expanding multidisciplinary capacity and its growing competitiveness on the global stage.

At the subject level, UNAIR posts notable accomplishments. Of the 20 disciplines included in the rankings, 16 secure positions within the Top 500 globally and Top 5 nationally.
