Excellent at Managing Time, Tip from Sartika Wulandari, Best Master Graduate of UNAIR Nursing

UNAIR NEWS “ Having many roles, as mother, as nurse, and as student is not easy, especially when the important role must be done simultaneously.That is what Sartika Wulandari, the best graduate of the Faculty of Nursing has done.She earned GPA 3.91.

The woman born on December 22, 1984 said that the heaviest struggle she went through was when studying Master in Nursing UNAIR when she had to play her roles as a mother and a nurse at UNAIR Hospital.She often had to make sacrifice.

“For example at the end of the semester, homework and exam assignments piled up, she was forced to stay in the room and heard his crying child want to play with his mother.Luckily her husband was always ready to share duties, “said the reader of metropop novels.

At work, Sartika often shared her duties with colleagues.While attending a student exchange program at Japanese Red Cross of Kyushu International College of Nursing (JRCKICN) in Fukuoka, Japan, for more than two weeks, her partners were willing to share duties with her.

“I™m grateful my friends really understand my condition and without being asked always offer help when I have trouble managing the time,” she explained.

Being an outstanding student, she advised students should be able to manage their time according to priority.Students just have to manage it if the go to college while working.“Make weekly and daily schedules of what to do.At the beginning of the week I usually make a list of tasks, then make priority which should be done first andmappedin daily and weekly schedule, ” she explained.

“Try as much as possible not to delay what must be done according to the schedule you made,” she added.(*)
