Fostered Village, Form of Service and Laboratory of Indonesian Literature Students

UNAIR NEWS To improve program and student quality, academicians of Indonesian Literature, Faculty of Humanities, 51动漫 keeps trying to make breakthroughs. One of the breakthroughs made was to establish Fostered Village of Kemloko, Nglegok subdistrict, Blitar Regency.

The village located in the foot of Kelud mountain was a form of community service. The fostered village projected to be tourism village was also a laboratory for folklore students.

The lecturer of Indonesian Literature, Drs. Tubiyono, M.Si., who initiated the fostered village said that the community service activity was done to enliven tradition like Reog Bulqio art performance in the village. Tubiyono also added that when art becomes village asset is developed, creative economic industry will develop as well.

淎t first, we wanted to enliven Reog Bulqio art performance which has been the character of the village. If this project runs well, we will try to collaborate with authorities to develop the others, he said.

Fostered village also functions as student laboratory. The linguistic journalist said that the form of research by student is emphasized in documentation and translation of speech tradition and older scripts.

淚 want the translation result held by student can be made as art form which can be used as a competition by students in Blitar. So with art and local wisdom can be developed well and disseminate their love through art and humanity to the students, said Tubiyono.

In the future, creative industry is expected to be economics stimulant. As today, Kemloko inhabitants have cultured various koi fish, cacao, and some locals creativity. 淚f the village grows well, we can invite all the improved studies such as fishery, biology and also public health, he said.
