Hospitality Management Program is ready to Send Student for Studying in Malaysia

UNAIR NEWS – There were 40 students along with officers of Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia, conducted a comparative study to D-3 Hospitality Management Program, Faculty of Vocational Studies, 51动漫 on Tuesday (25/4)

The Dean of School of Hospitality and Creative Arts MSU, Associate Professor Arfah Binti Kassi, said that visitation is regular event conducted by final-year student to experience study abroad. For this time, UNAIR has been chosen to be destination of comparative study.

The institutional partnership between MSU and UNAIR was one of main reasons that it became the destination of comparative student. She also said that UNAIR is the largest university in Surabaya.

淯NAIR has partnership with MSU, and we (the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts) have never visited UNAIR before. And, we are interested in visiting UNAIR. I think UNAIR is also the largest university in Surabaya, isn檛 it? “Said Arfah.

Through the visits, Arfah expects can send her students in study exchange program for six months. She also expects, UNAIR also send the students of Hospitality Management to study in MSU for six years too.

淗onestly, I want student of MSU join the student exchange program here for six month. I also hope the vocational student here can come and stay in MSU for student exchange too. I guess, global education has positive exposure for student, Arfah Added

UNAIR officer welcomed the delegation of MSU. Coordinator of Hospitality Management, Dian Yulie Reindawati, Ph.D, said the MSU Visits was part of exploration of future academic collaboration.

Regarding to student exchange program, MSU officer is ready to send the student to continue study in MSU. However, before conducting student exchange program, between two parties will decide the specific course which can be used for credit transfer.

淪tudents should’ve been more advanced because the relationship is wide open. We will send students for internships and other things. Currently, there is no plan yet, but we are ready to follow up (meeting result), “said Dian.

In the earlier, the delegation of MSU was welcomed by Head of International Office and Partnership (IOP) and staff. In her speech, Dian Ekowati, Ph.D hoped the student enjoy the time during in Surabaya.
