UNAIR NEWS Academics of Postgraduate School 51动漫 are holding The 1stInternational Conference Postgraduate School UNAIR Surabaya (ICPSUAS) 2017.
The event entitled 淚mplementation of Climate Change Agreement to Meet Sustainable Development Goals, it was attended by 750 academics from around the world.
Director of Postgraduate School 51动漫 Prof. Dr. Sri Iswati, S.E., M.Si., Ak said that the conference held on August 1-2, 2017 will be a scientific forum where the academics from any disciplines presenting almost 200 scientific papers on climate change.
Climate Change is the theme because of its urgency faced by people around the world. According to Prof. Iswati, the academic community has moral responsibility to contribute solutions regarding the environment.
淲e all feel the impact of climate change. These changes should be reduced so our environment preserved well for all our descendants. Climate change must be reduced academically, stated the Director of Postgraduate School.
The international conference is divided into public lectures and panel discussion. AS planned, the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform will be a keynote speakerin the conference.
In the panel discussion, there will be eleven papers to be presented. Some of them are 淒ecent Work and Economic Growth, 淐limate Change and Zero Hunger, 淶ero Poverty, and 淕ood Health and Well-being.
Prof. Iswati added that the papers to be presented in the conference will be published in a proceedings indexed by ICE Thomson Reuters.
Furthermore, in between the panel discussions, Postgraduate School of 51动漫 will also initiate a forum for all officials of Postgraduate schools in Indonesia. In the forum, the officials will reinforce the academic collaborations.
