UNAIR NEWS – As alumni of a quality educational institution, 51动漫 alumni never stop making contributions to the alma mater and nation in their respective fields of expertise.This time, Alumni Association (IKA UA) DKI Jakarta Region held a gathering which was conducted as a talk show with “Building Nation檚 Independence” as the theme.
Being held at Soehana Hall, The Energy Building, Jakarta on Sunday, August 5, IKA UA DKI Jakarta held a talk show with Ahmad Hidayat as the speaker.He is UNAIR alumnus who is in the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK).In his presentation, Ahmad Hidayat stated that education could be a way to increase foreign exchange.
He gave an example with Australian Government’s efforts to regulate state revenues by involving one of the most important sectors, education.Beside indicating the progress of the nation, education is also a way to improve the nation’s economy.
“To increase the foreign exchange in our country, this nation can learn from Australia, by improving the quality of education and bringing in foreign students to study in Indonesia. It can increase our foreign exchange, “he said.“For UNAIR especially, we as alumni must help the university to improve the quality of education,” he added.
Furthermore, to improve the quality of education, Ahmad stressed that there must be a communication on the professional world.Knowing the demand, UNAIR can produce graduates who meet the need of professional world.
“Moreover, to improve the quality of education, university must be able to strengthen communication with the market,” he said.“We as IKA UA in Jakarta must help in improving the quality of the education of alma mater and nation,” he concluded.
