UNAIR NEWS Intellectual Congregation of Moslem Students (JIMM), Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), 51动漫 just held Islamic Science and Technology Fair (ISEF) 2016, on Saturday and Sunday, November 12-13.
ISEF series of events in 2016 consisted of Islamic quiz, Alquran scientific writing, musabaqah syarhil Alquran, poetry contest and poster design competition. Furthermore, there was a national seminar 淚ntegration of Islam and Science towards Intellectual Generation with Excellent Morals, was also a part of this series of events.
It was the second ISEF. The committee chose 淩ebuilding Islamic Civilization towards Golden Indonesia 2045. Safri Ilman, ISEF head of committee hoped that this seminar expand the science and also religious knowledge for the participants.
淭he event was not only for students, but also for the public in East Java and Bali. We hope that the participants can promote their new ideas, said Safri.
The seminar was attended by KH. Abdurrahman Navis, Lc, M.HI (Head of Edict Division MUI of East Java) and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sholeh, Drs., M.Pd., (Founder of Avicena House of Health). In his presentation, NAvis explained the dynamic Islam. He explained the Islamic studies and their relations to Islam scientist and the science development at that time. Some of the scientists were Al-Faraby, Ibnu Sina, and Al-Khawarizmi.
淜nowledge is compulsory and reinforced as to study the rituals and guide of the religion. It must be understood by every moslem. There is also compulsory but not burdened to all people because there is an expert on it, like medicine, physics and chemistry.
Meanwhile, Prof. Sholeh, a professor of Negeri Sunan Ampel Surabaya, shared his personal experience when he saw an individual immunity was from Tahajud prayers. From the research he knows that Tahajud affect human hormones which can deal with diseases. (*)
