UNAIRNEWS Nine years living in Indonesia, Miguel Angel Esquivias Padilla, admitted that Indonesia feels like his own home. The man who was born in Jelisco, Mexico, 10 September 1983, expressed his gratitude as he awarded as the best graduate of Doctoral Program (PhD) of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of 51动漫 on Sunday (3/12). Miguel earns 3.95 GPA.
淒uring my study, I have no target to get rewards, furthermore, in my doctoral study is a commitment to run education as well as possible, Miguel said, who also a lecturer in FEB UNAIR
According to him, to study in Indonesia was not an easy thing. In the first year, his allowance of scholarship had not been paid due to any trouble. It made him had to use his own savings to pay his study fee.
“For the beginning, I had very limited time, because I have to divide between to study and conduct research,” Miguel explains
In his dissertation, he brings up about ASEAN integration, especially in sharing product and vertical specialization in ASEAN. For him, ASEAN is the potential area integrated with India, China and other to establish big networking as the largest world free trade for the next five years.

After this, he will continue his career in Indonesia. For him, Indonesia feels like home. Although, he got some issues of immigration and work permits, but Miguel believe it all will be done.
“In the future I will continue to strive to become a world-class academician. I grew up in a family with unlimited thoughts, dreams and work by a region. My parents educate me to go anywhere to provide benefits and contributions, “Miguel said (*)
