UNAIR NEWS– Minister of ESDM RI Ignatius Jonan delivered thekeynote speechat the official assembly of Dies Natalis 51动漫, on Friday, November 10.In his oration, in line with the theme of UNAIR Dies Natalis, For Just and Civilized Indonesia, Jonan stressed that social justice for all people in Indonesia must be maintained.
In his presentation, Jonan who is an alumnus of Accounting, Faculty of Economics (now Faculty of Economics and Business) UNAIR said that there are five positive economic indicators that in the last three years continue to work on.The five indicators are poverty, economic growth, inflation, inequality and unemployment.
In the oration that took place in the Hall of Garuda Mukti Management Office Campus C UNAIR, Jonan invited participants not to use subsidized products for the sake of equitable development in Indonesia.
“If you are able without using subsidized products, do not ask for some.Our brothers outside Java need them more, “said Jonan.
Jonan explained, the area in Papua that already has electricity is still less than 50 percent.Therefore, he needs all the help from various parties so the distribution of development can be done well.
As part of social justice efforts across Indonesia, Jonan said, his leadership has completed the development of Domini Airport Edward Osok, Sorong, West Papua;Jalaluddin Airport, Gorontalo;Komodo Airport, Labuan Bajo, NTT;Jatigede Dam, West Java;Nipah Dam, East Java;Dam Rajui, Aceh;and Titab Dam, Bali.There were 6 State Border Posts (PLBN) built with several power plants.
In the oration, Jonan emphasized, the era continues to grow, the challenge of development in Indonesia is getting bigger.He hoped, with the celebration of the 63rd Dies Natalis, UNAIR can participate and build an educational climate that allows graduates to become leaders who can create social justice wherever they will be.
