UNAIR NEWS– Indonesia檚 Multilateral General Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hasan Kleib delivered a general lecture at 51动漫, Wednesday (22/3). He presented a topic entitled 淚ndonesia檚 Multilateral Diplomation in front of students from International Relationship Program , Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Surabaya, and Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Ampel Surabaya (UINSA).
During the lecture at Adi Sukadana Auditorium, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Hasan revealed one of the reasons he delivered the general lecture at UNAIR.
淲hen I was studying at college, I dreamt of having an agenda like this. That檚 why I made this visit to share knowledge with everybody, revealed Hasan.
Hasan stated that the general lecture was organized as means of interaction between Ministry of Foreign Affairs and domestic community. This way, Ministry of Foreign Affairs could share knowledge about Indonesia檚 multilateral relationship with college students.
Hasan,who was inaugurated as the Ambassador of Indonesia in Switzerland, Geneva, by the president on 13 Marettalked more about the differences between multilateral relationship and bilateral one.
淢ultilateral relationship is more thematic, while bilateral is more complex. For example, discussion about multilateral relationship about human rights, or about safety, said Hasan.
He added, world organization like health organization (WHO), trade organization (WTO), hydrography organization (IHO), United Nations (UN), Islamic Countries Cooperation Organization, Non-block movement, or regional organizations such as ASEAN, European Union, and many more are the scope of multilateral relationship.
The dean of FISIP Dr., Drs., Falih Suedi M.Si. himself opened the general lecture.He expressed his respect to Hasan for his visit.
淗is visit sparks positive energy towards education, especially at FISIP UNAIR. Hopefully there will emerge future leaders from this modest building, said Falih, motivating the students. (*)
