UNAIR NEWS Like a ship looking for its captain, Airlangga University Bidikmisi Organization (AUBMO) through Public Election Commission (KPU) held an election for the new chairman. After having a discussion and conference, Saturday (11/3) at Propadus Hall of the (FK) UNAIR, there elected Hafit Ari Pratama as the Chairman of AUBMO for the period of 2017-2018.
淚n this time檚 management, the significant change needs to be done is a long term planning so not only for a period, said Hafit after elected as the Chairman of AUBMO.
Hafit emphasized, besides serving the community, raising care about local issues, his party also wants to form a stronger bond between every student of Bidikmisi. Moreover his party wishes that the level of students participation and aspirations in every activity are to be the fundamental goals.
淭he bigger role of Board (DKF) is required. Thus in faculty level AUBMO existence feels real and is able to solve students problems and aspirations during college days, especially of the Bidikmisi students, explained the student of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine (FPK).
Three candidates in the Grand Conference were Hafit Ari Pratama student of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine (FPK), Puput Ayu Ramadhani student of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), and Miftachul Choiriyah student of FISIP.
Before the Grand Conference, a series of action had been undergone. First was the stage of filling in forms about candidates information. After that, information received by the public election commission (KPU) was confirmed. The eligible chairman candidates then continued to interview stage with the Day-to-Day Executive Committee (BPH) and Organizational Election Board (DPO).
淚 hope AUBMO will be present among the Bidikmisi students. Moreover, I wish all Bidikmisi students will be aware of their rights and obligations as government-financed students. Therefore we will be able to develop this nation further, he concluded. (*)
