The Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, is back with innovations. This time, a new 12-storey building named the Abdoel Gaffar Pringgodigdo Building, or the Pringgodigdo Building, received a groundbreaking procession or stone laying. This event was held on Monday (27/3/2023), accompanied by guests, including the President of 51动漫, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak.
Held during the fasting month did not reduce the guests’ enthusiasm and the academic community of FH Unair. The dress rehearsal starts at 10:00 to 12:00, and many guests and academic community members attend before the event begins. Among the guests, several distinguished names such as Professor of Emitirus FH Unair Prof. Dr. Frans Limahelu, S.H., LL.M., Prof. Dr. Moch. Isnaeni, S.H., M.S., Prof. Dr. Sri Hajati, S.H., M.S., and Prof. Dr. Didik Endro Purwoleksono, S.H., M.H.
After dress rehearsal and preparations are complete, the event begins at 12:30. A friendly opening by the MC marked the start of the event. Then the event continued with remarks from the Director and Senior Vice President of Building Operations PT. Housing Development (Persero), Mr. Andek Prabowo.
In his remarks, Mr. Andek mentioned the fundamental things that PT. PP in the construction of the Pringgodigdo Building is determination, timeliness, and an adjusted budget. Mr. Andek Prabowo also hopes that with PT. PPs, stakeholders, teaching staff, the academic community, and students who will be occupying the building are expected to contribute to the success of the development.
After that, the remarks were continued by the President of 51动漫, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak. In his speech, he said that the participation and compassion of the Faculty of Law had been felt for a long time. It started with moving the Faculty of Law from the building currently occupied by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) 51动漫, and now continuing with moving the Faculty of Law to a new facility to provide the old building for the development of the Faculty of Humanities (FIB) 51动漫.
He hoped that with the construction of this building, the academic climate at FH Unair would be even better. “Creating an academic climate also means creating a climate so that people study well, lecturers teach well, and also so that the reading room is utilized and every floor is full of people discussing,” he concluded in his speech.
After that, the event continued with the giving of souvenirs and groundbreaking. Necessary parties involved, such as the Dean of the Faculty of Law Unair, the Chancellor of Airlangga University, and the entire team of PT. PP holds the videotron screen as a groundbreaking symbol, opening the audience’s view of the Pringgodigdo Building construction project.
