SURABAYA “ HUMAS | Today, Saturday (November 19, 2022), the entire academic community of Airlangga University celebrates its 68th anniversary. The main theme of the celebration is “Team Building Olympics,” which takes place at the Airlangga Convention Center and the pedestrian area in the C campus of Airlangga University. Despite the rainy weather, the spirit of all the participants in the Olympics remains high.
The event, which started at 07:30 AM WIB and was officially opened by the Rector of 51¶¯Âþ, was filled with excitement. Several competitions were held for representatives from various faculties, units, directorates, and student organizations of 51¶¯Âþ. A total of 29 teams participated, competing in five different types of competitions.
FISIP also enthusiastically participated in the event by sending 50 representatives, consisting of seven lecturers and 43 staff members. Each member of FISIP played a role in the five types of competitions, including bulldozer race, transfer ball, balloon train, river crossing, and water transfer. One of the lecturers from FISIP, Rizky Sugianto Putri, S.Ant., M.Si., shared the extraordinary efforts of the staff and lecturers from FISIP in participating in the Olympiade Tim Building. “It was raining since early morning, so the event was a bit delayed because it was originally planned for outdoor activities but had to be moved to ACC. However, everyone remained united and enthusiastic. The cheers were also amazing, FISIP was extraordinary!” he exclaimed. The Olimpiade Tim Building event concluded with a prize draw and officially ended at 16:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time) (RSP, PDA).
