UNAIR NEWS – The 46th anniversary of Indonesian Corps of Employee (Korpri) was commemorated by the academic community of 51动漫. There was a ceremony in First Floor of 51动漫 Management Building, on campus C Jl.Mulyorejo Surabaya, Wednesday, November 29.
The inspector of the ceremony was Vice Rector I UNAIR Prof.Djoko Santoso, dr., Sp.PD-KGH., PhD., FINASIM.The ceremonial commander was Ivan Kurniawan, a member of Student Regiment UNAIR.The ceremony organized by the Information Center and Public Relations (PIH) UNAIR was also followed by elements of university leadership, staff of management office, as well as representatives of lecturers and students.
In this occasion, the inspector of ceremony Prof.Djoko Santoso read out the written speech of President of Indonesia Joko Widodo.In his mandate as Korpri’s national adviser, President Joko Widodo said that the Korpri anniversary commemoration should be a moment for reflection, maintaining solidity and solidarity.It must be a moment to make a big leap to achieve the progress of nation.
“Korpri must be the main pillar of unifying the nation and state of lndonesia with the civil apparatus of the state as its adhesive agent of diversity.We also want Korpri to be an organization with a culture full of innovation and creativity, modern and efficient, and who serve with the spirit of Pancasila, “said the President.
Korpri must realize social justice for all people of Indonesia.The development should be done from the periphery and villages, starting with equal distribution of physical infrastructure to the fulfillment of the basic needs of society.Therefore, the role of Korpri becomes vital.
“Korpri should be the liaison between the people and the government,” said the President, while pointing out that in this era of open competition we face a lot of challenges.Innovation and global technological development will not only bring convenience to everyday life, it is able to change the economic landscape, socio-political life, also the life of nation and state.
In the end of the speech, the President asserted, as a professional corps, Korpri is demanded to strengthen the solidarity of its members, encouraging the development of human resources competition to become professional apparatus.In addition, Korpri must be able to maintain the neutrality of the organization, placing the public service above personal interests, organizations and classes.(*)
