UNAIR NEWS There is a warm atmosphere in 51动漫 Alumni Gathering in Malaysia. About 70 people of Alumni who live in Malaysia attended the gathering in Pullman Hotel KLCC, Malaysia on Saturday, August 25.
The event was started with a dinner with UNAIR officials. Rector of UNAIR Prof. Dr. Moh. Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., and Vice Rector IV Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., M.Kes., Ph.D were also present.
There was also the Secretary of University, Vice Dean III Faculty of Medicine, Dean of Faculty of Dental Medicine, Vice Dean II Faculty of Pharmacy and representatives of centers, boards and institutes in UNAIR. There were also some officials from IKA UNAIR with lots of alumni from doctors, businessmen to ministry officials in Malaysia.
In presence of the guests, Nasih admitted that he was pleased that he could be among the alumni in Malaysia. The gathering was held to strengthen ties with alumni in Malaysia which reaches 500 people. UNAIR Rector also expected alumni contribution for UNAIR to achieve Top 500 World Rankings. Prof. Nasih presented UNAIR檚 ranking was still the fourth at national level and 702nd at world ranking with some more developmental plans.
淭herefore, we need supports from the Alumni in Malaysia to introduce UNAIR in the world. One thing they can do is by showing UNAIR in the name card or your CV, explained Nasih.
Nasih also encouraged the alumni to register in the database of alumni on which is used to trace and track the alumni and in the future maybe to collaborate with the alumni institutions in research.
淚 want the alumni to host UNAIR students or other alumni during their study in Malaysia so we are still connected, said Nasih.
Besides alumni gathering, there was an inauguration of 51动漫 Alumni Association (IKA UA) officials in Malaysia by Drs. Harry Bagyo., MM., Apt., as the Third Chair of PP IKA UA.
