UNAIR NEWS Three students of 51 develop idea to build Rumah Pancasila/ Pancasila House and joined in contest which hosted by Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristek Dikti). This idea came to respond SARA issues which occurs lately.
They are Achmad Maralda Ainin Ghifari mahasiswa from Faculty of Public Health, Niko Rokhman Syahputra from Faculty of Vocational Studies, and Gita Kurnia Widiastutik from Faculty of Nursing. They have presented their idea in Bekasi in last September.
They delivered presentation about their Idea Rumah Pancasila in Study Excursion at Trawas, Mojokerto on Saturday (21/10).
According to them, Rumah Pancasila is an institution for community to teach about Pancasila as Ideology and philosophy of living nation and state. The targeted cadres are youth throughout areas in Indonesia.
To actualize their idea, the youth will be trained by the government committee who responsible in Pancasila implementation. To ensure that the cadres would have met the requirement, the training uses 4M method, includes, memorizing (menghafal), understanding (memahami), implementation (menerapkan) and share (menyebarkan). This cadre will share their knowledge to the community.
Rumah Pancasila will be home for community to learn and apply Pancasila as an Ideology, Aldo said
In the beginning, these three students felt nervous to join student critical thinking competition since they are from health study background. However, the support always with them, specially, from their advisor, Dr. Listiyono Santoso, M.Hum.
“We felt nervous because we come from health study background. But Mr. Lis said that Pancasila should be the subject of all students, not just FISIP and Law. If it is only theirs, it means that Pancasila is not the foundational philosophy of the state, “Aldo said.
Although they only ended in 20 finalists, they have great expectations that ‘Rumah Pancasila’ can be implemented as an institution that plays a role in society. They confessed that idea of ‘Rumah Pancasila’ is still far from perfect. To that end, they are open to criticism and suggestions that the idea of ‘Rumah Pancasila’ becomes better.
It does not matter if were not win, but it can be implemented. Because we think, it is important thing to reduce SARA issues which happening today, Gita said
