UNAIR NEWS“ There were 92 students of SMA Negeri Taruna Nala visited 51¶¯Âþ for the first time on Tuesday, November 7.The high school was a semi-military school which was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo in June 2017. The military tradition, marching line, started their visit to the Yellow and Blue Campus.Accompanied by five teachers, the students were very enthusiastic about listening to the information about UNAIR.
“We came to be in touch with UNAIR so that our students get information about student admission in UNAIR,” said Dra.Nanik Purniati., Msi., a teacher of SMAN Taruna Nala, Malang.
She explained that SMAN Taruna Nala previously named SMAN 10 Malang.Even though the high school looks like a military school, the education is not entirely military-based.
“There are two military curricula that are taught, the curriculum of nationalism and maritime which are divided into regular and top class, ” she said.
Ivo Hajar as UNAIR Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) representative staff gave information about UNAIR after the speech, from the university profile to the selection of admission.The next session was presented by the UNAIR Student Admission Center.
On behalf of PPMB, Dr.Moh.Anam Al Arif, drh.MP.said that the study at UNAIR is not expensive, if they only see the department of Medicine, it is natural.However, for SNMPTN and SBMPTN pathway, students can study with low cost if they are from poor families.
Before entering the question and answer session, Ivo invited the students to shout UNAIR yell.Kahuripan Hall Campus C UNAIR suddenly became noisy.
“Is there an assessment standard for the student index?For example, academic achievement? ” asked Galuh, one of the students, in a question and answer session.“If the number of alumni who have admitted was taken into account, how about SMAN Taruna Nala, which is a new school?” added Yuda, another student.
According to Anam, the students need not worry.If there are no alumni, they are still eligible to be admitted.The points of school index appraisal is a matter of consideration.If they fail in SNMPTN path, the students can compete in other pathways.
“The important thing for now is for you to pass with the best marks.So, you should study harder to realize your dreams.Because, the change is in your hands as the next generation, “he said.(*)
