In 2018, the number of SNMPTN applicants to increased significantly.It is also justified directly by the Rector of UNAIR Prof.Dr.Moh.Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak., CMA.Interviewed by the media crews on Wednesday, March 7, Prof.Nasih said that there is an increase in the number of applicants SNMPTN 2018 compared to the previous year.
“In essence, in SNMPTN 2018 there is an increase compared to last year,” said Prof.Nasih.
From the data obtained from UNAIR Student Admission Center (PPMB), the applicants of SNMPTN 2018 to UNAIR reached 31,235 with 3,553 participants for bidikmisi education.
From the data, the three study programs with the largest number of applicants in the science and technology group were the public health program with 2,081 applicants, the pharmacist education with 1,843 applicants, and the medical education with 1,710 applicants.Meanwhile, the social and humanities group were management with 2,028 applicants, psychology with 1,836 applicants, and accounting with 1,761 applicants.
“Indeed, some of the favorite programs this year are quite the same as last year,” he added.
Meanwhile, the number of applicants who chose UNAIR in the first position was 25,006 and applicants who placed UNAIR as the second position was 6,229.
“We are very grateful to the people who still trust UNAIR,” said Prof.Nasih.
