UNAIR NEWS 撎51动漫 (UNAIR) through Directorate of Information System (DSI) has collaborated with PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom). This time, on Thursday, December 8, UNAIR with one of the Top Companies 听to Work for in Asia in听Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards 2016 (ACES) held a 听Talkshow & Talent听Scout 听in Plenary Assembly, Management Office Building Campus C.
The speaker for the event was the Director of Human Capital Management (HCM) Telkom as well as the author of 淪trongest by Best People, Herdy Harman, SH., MBA., LLM. It was directly opened by Director of Information and Communication System, Drs. Eko Supeno, M.Si.
In the beginning of the presentation, Herdy elaborated achievements made by Telkom. Beside the award of being one of the Top Companies to Work for in Asia in听Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards 2016 (ACES), Telkom was succeeded as Best Employer and Best of The Best Employers in AON Best Employer 2016.
淭o accomplish the mission of being the king of digital, the most important thing of competitiveness from an organization is the culture in the organization itself, he explained.
In the occasion, Herdy also gave motivations in the talkshow. 淎chieve the essence in doing anything, as youngsters, if you want to do something, do it in a cool, effective and efficient way, said Herdy.
Herdy also emphasized that the nationalism is important in building a nation. 淲e realized that our nnation is different in language, religion, tribe but we must be one united nation, one mission, Indonesia, said Herdy.
Furthermore, Herdy also explained the criteria of youngsters expected in the future, the ones who have strong characters with digital leadership competencies, professional competencies, collaborative,听and social awareness.
淲e are looking for youngsters who are active, not the ones who are too focused on learning but never socialize in the society. Youngsters should be able to balance activities between academic and social, so the right part and the left part of the brain can be balanced, said Herdy.
Beside sharing knowledge to the participants, Herdy also explained the profile of Telkom to the selected participants to be parts of Telkom.
淚 hope this event can give the students and alumni UNAIR a path to contribute to Telkom, said the Head of DSI UNAIR, Eko Supeno.(*)
